Alella is the smallest D.O. (Origen Appellation) in Spain, with just 227 ha of planted vines. In a ride of just 25 minutes north from Barcelona, you will be surrounded by beautiful vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean sea and enjoying one of their wonderful wines.

The wine state that we visit is Alta Alella .This winery is the culmination of a family project that began more than twenty years ago with Josep Maria Pujol-Busquets and his wife Cristina Guillen. From the beginning the organic farming and the respect for the environment and nature have been the basis for making their organic wines and cavas in the DO Alella and DO Cava, with the will for transparency, being a true reflection of the “terroir” and the vintage.

The guided visit of the vineyard and cellar followed by the wine tasting of six of their wines and cavas takes about 1 and a half hour.
