Salvador Dalí , the great Catalan artist, was what French know as a “bon vivant” , so a person who enjoyed life´s luxuries, fine dining and travelling in style and he was lucky to be born and to live most of his life in Empordà , one of the most beautiful counties in the north of Catalonia.

Our driver will take us north from Barcelona until the village of Cantallops, very close to France, 161km / 100 miles away, where Jaume and Silvia , owners of an small boutique winery in Empordà wine route will receive us with a delicious breakfast-brunch to start the day. Different local specialities of cheeses, cured meats, bread with tomato and pure virgin olive oil to savour and enjoy.
You will visit their vineyards and their winery to hear everything about their climate, soils, grapes, elaboration styles that characterize these well-known wines of the D. O. Empordà wine region.
So don´t eat much before leaving Barcelona in the morning!!
In the afternoon we will drive to Figueres, to visit Salvador Dalí´s museum.
Since 1974 the Dalí Theatre-Museum rises on the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres and is considered to be the last great work of Salvador Dalí. Everything in it was conceived and designed by the artist to offer visitors a real experience and invite them into his unique and captivating world.
